The project will be the first project of its scope and will serve the Incline Village Area. It is expected this project will provide a new entrance or junction point to the highway and be developed as a community gathering place including a recreation center and parking lot.  The Incline Village Area Road and Hwy 40 is slated to receive 7,500,000 in state assistance under the Iowa Incline Village Improvement Project. The Incline Village Area Road is a portion of Highway 40 that is primarily used for single and two-story homes.  There are over 400 homes along this section of Highway 40. Approximately 50 houses near the Incline Village Area will be demolished and replaced with new residences.
